Had breakfast with Kevin and Todd at Capitol Bindery. Picked up 4 finished books, looked on over the progress on the 18 books currently in the shop and discussed the 15 books waiting to be brought down. These four books are for the same customer. In the last few months we have done Capitol hardcover volumes with dustjackets, Snow Dog hardcovers and Snow Dog soft covers all for the same customer. Keeping all the details straight has been challenging but I have had blast working on them.

These two will have dustjackets.

Knightfall and 52 came out to 2.5 inches thick so I had to resize the dustjackets to fit properly.

I met with Mike at Bindery 59 and we discussed the progress of the ten books he is working on. Even though the official launch of the Bindery 59 is April 2, 2010 we are doing a soft launch with a select group of customers to work out kinks in the production process.

Then I went to Snow Dog's shop. Picked up some lamination looked at the progress of 4 books he is working on and gave him a heads up of several more coming his way soon.

One book arrived to be made into a Snow Dog hardcover volume.

Met with my tax accountant to go over the paperwork for my 2009 tax returns. It is always fun to show Ron new products that we developed and begun selling since the last time I met with him.

Four books arrived to be made into Capitol Bindery hardcover volumes.

Worked on scanning elements for various designs. Answered a lot of emails. Then worked on new and expanded information to be posted on the web site.

Spent most of the day pacing around, not being very productive waiting to hear whether my grandson had been born. Then the news that Marcel J. Banks had arrived! In the years to come Grandfather and Grandson will make weekly trips to the comic book store and discuss Jack Kirby's contribution to the Marvel Universe. I can't wait!
